How to Obtain a Federal Firearms License

As long as you are following all of the applicable laws relating to the sale and transfer of firearms there is no reason at all to be worried about having any problems. The standard procedure for applying for a license is quite simple and generally take a very short period of time.
Your first step will need to be ensuring that you are at least 21 years old. Regardless of your previous background, unless you meet the minimum age requirement you will not be approved for the license. There are of course additional requirements, such as you cannot be engaged in an illegal usage of the firearms, you must maintain complete records which will be made available for review at all times and additionally you must abide by all applicable state laws for your area in order to be approved for the federal firearms license.
